Minimum Requirements |
Associates degree or High School diploma and two years network and computer installation experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in a call support center environment is preferred. Proficient
knowledge with PCs, Macs, network devices, printers, projectors & other computer and A/V peripherals. Proficient analyst, technical & troubleshooting skills. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Knowledge of campus applications (MS Office, Outlook, and e-mail clients.) Must have knowledge of networks with Ethernet, wireless & other network protocols. Knowledge of Audio and Visual equipment as it relates to projection, audio and
switching equipment. Excellent customer service, communication, verbal, written, & interpersonal skills. Ability to follow procedures and keep accurate records. |
Additional Comments Regarding Position |
Ability to lift, move and adjust up to 40 lbs of equipment. May require nights and weekend work. Some overnight travel may be required. May be required to carry and respond to after hours. |

Activity |
Serves to support and maintain PC/ Wired and Wireless, and Audio and Visual technologies through the campus. Use remote tools to troubleshoot A/V and network equipment. Escalates issues when the scope of problems warrant. Initiates and
maintains consistent communication about the status of equipment/system with customers, team members and vendors. Troubleshoots & resolves computer problems with PC’s, Macs, printers, network hardware, cables, etc. using remote tools and working in classrooms
and common areas. Provide consultation, technical expertise & installation services to faculty for classroom and lab use. |
