Job Purpose |
Clinical Staff Leader promotes wellness and the proper utilization of healthcare resources for student-patients by providing direct patient care; directing and developing nursing staff; collaborating with providers;
supporting students and families. |
Minimum Requirements |
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina. Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience; preferred 2 years of supervisory or charge RN experience. Preference
will be given to those with college health experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Knowledge of principles, practice, and theories of nursing. Knowledge of teaching methods applicable to nursing. Knowledge of certification requirements and standards for healthcare facilities. Ability to establish and maintain effective
working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully. Ability to plan, organize, supervise, direct, and evaluate the work of other employees in a professional manner. Ability to follow detailed instructions of a technical and professional
nature. |
Additional Comments Regarding Position |
Occasional after hour work and travel may be required. |
