Job Purpose |
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the operation and management of the Center for Disability Services. This person will regularly interact with students, faculty, staff, and families. This person
will also assist with overseeing various services such as the Alternative Testing Site. Teamwork, problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise good judgement, discretion, flexibility, and diplomatic skills in applying policies and procedures of the
department and institution are essential. Knowledge of Banner and BDMS software is desired. Must have or be able to acquire a firm understanding of FERPA rules and regulations. |
Minimum Requirements |
High School diploma and related work experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Excellent public speaking skills. A working knowledge of and experience with computers, software, assistive technology, and Microsoft Office/Google suite. Must have the ability to effectively prioritize, plan and organize work and tasks
to meet goals and deadlines. |
