Job Purpose |
The Associate Director of Human Resources Operations manages and monitors data integrity within numerous Human Resources information systems, produces a wide array of reports, and supports the Office’s customer support services. The Associate
Director serves as a key partner in complex projects and strategic initiatives within the Office of Human Resources. |
Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor’s degree and experience with Human Resources systems or related systems and business processes. Experience within the Ellucian Banner platform and IBM Cognos Analytics system is strongly preferred. Experience
supervising and mentoring multiple HR professionals is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Must have the ability to plan, assign, direct and review/audit the work of others. Must have the ability to initiate and implement administrative procedures and evaluate their effectiveness. Must be able to
communicate, comprehend, and carry out complex oral and written instructions. Must be able to meet deadlines. Should have proficiency in reporting and working with Excel, Word, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in the following HR systems is very helpful, and highly preferred: Ellucian Banner, IBM Cognos
Analytics, People Admin, Absorb Learning Management System, and DocuSign. Must be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with departmental representatives, College Administration, and other outside agencies. |

May be required to travel out of town/state to attend conferences. |

Manages day-to-day operations of multiple HR information systems and monitors transactions and records to ensure data integrity. Reviews daily reports from on and off-campus partners and responds accordingly
and promptly. Liaises with State Human Resources office and on-campus partners to ensure that processes and workflows are adhered to, and employee records are entered and maintained correctly. Works with team of HR professionals to regularly review and assess business processes and forms, and initiates changes to create efficiencies or solve issues. Regularly meets with key partners across campus to
develop solutions and responses to ongoing challenges and seeks out training for self and team as needed. |

Creates, analyzes, and disseminates ad hoc and recurring data reports for use by HR and various on-campus offices and administrators. Assists Director and VP in compiling HR metrics and data from all systems
for State-mandated HR reporting or other purposes. Develops and maintains system dashboards to track key metrics related to recruitment, compensation, and strategic initiatives of the College. Proactively analyzes and presents data useful in forecasting HR needs and forestalling HR issues. Leads and/or participates in State audits and outside studies. Initiates and coordinates studies and projects around
a variety of HR issues and topics. Collaborates on a variety of local, state, and national reports with Institutional Research, ensuring data integrity and troubleshooting data issues. |
