Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor’s Degree Required, skilled in working with diverse groups of people, understanding students and student development, ability to communicate effectively with College of Charleston students and neighbors in the city of Charleston.
Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
This position requires the ability to understand the sensitivity and privacy of neighbors and students. It requires the ability to determine the level of severity of issues that students and neighbors face and determine how to best address
students and neighbors needs in order to keep good relations with one another. This position requires case management, and the ability to have developmental and conduct related conversations with students as needed. |

Develop and foster relationships with the permanent residents of Charleston in neighborhoods surrounding and/or relevant to the College of Charleston Assist students and families that may need a better understanding of city rules and regulations Educate students on the responsibilities of living in the Charleston community Communicate with students regarding issues and complaints from neighbors |
