COUGARS BEGIN FALL SEASON WITH THREE REGATAS

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team will open the 2022 season with three regattas on the schedule this weekend including the SAISA Coed Top Nine Invite on Saturday and Sunday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex. Charleston will also send a coed team to the SAISA Fall North Tournament in Wilmington, N.C. on Sunday.

Axel Stordahl will skipper A-Division for the Cougars at the SAISA Coed Top Nine with Lucy Klempen crewing. Brandon Geller is slated to skipper B-Division alongside crew Anna Sherry. At the SAISA Fall North, Fredrikke Foss will skipper A-Division with Garrett Grenauer crewing. Skipper Ethan Homberger and crew Grace Beard will represent the Cougars in B-Division.

The Cougars’ offshore team is slated to participate in the MUSC Hollings Regatta to benefit cancer research. Anyone interested in donating toward the cause can do so here<https://fundraise.musc.edu/team/447153>.
