Cougars Face Host Elon in Opening Round of CAA Tournament

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston will meet Elon on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the first game of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship presented by Primis. The tournament is being held at the Hunt Softball Park on the Elon campus. 

 

The five-team, double-elimination tournament will take place from Thursday through Saturday with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. 

 

The winner of the Charleston-Elon game will take on top-seeded Delaware at 4 p.m. The first day wraps up at 6:30 p.m. when the loser of the Charleston-Elon game takes on the loser of the day’s second contest between Hofstra and UNCW. 

 

Full coverage of the tournament will be streamed on FloSoftball and live stats on StatBroadcast. Tickets can be purchased online or on game day at the ticket office at the main entrance of Hunt Softball Park. See links above to watch and to purchase tickets.
