CHARLESTON AND COASTAL CAROLINA HALTED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

 

CONWAY, S.C. --- Tuesday’s midweek contest between College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina has been suspended due to inclement weather midway through the seventh inning with Coastal Carolina holding a 7-2 advantage.

 

The Chanticleers opened the scoring with four runs in the second inning and added three runs over the fourth and fifth frames before Charleston got on the board with two in the sixth.

 

Charleston returns to the diamond on Friday when the Cougars welcome James Madison to the Lowcountry for a three-game set in CAA play. First pitch for Friday’s series opener is slated for 6:00 p.m. at Patriots Point.
